  • The scientific program is available on the main menu.

  • We will only have plenary talks. Place: Aalborg University, Fredrik Bajers Vej 7B, auditorium B2-104.

  • There are eight very good blackboards in that room. You can also use computers or slides.

  • Computers: there will be free wireless internet access, and only that. Details about proxy and port number will be given during the conference. Don't forget your laptop.

  • Each invited talk will last for 30 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of questions/discussion. A contributed talk will last for 15+5=20 minutes.

  • Most participants will be lodged at Prinsen Hotel. Here is the hotel location on Google Maps. It is situated at about 200 meters from the railway station.

    • Getting to Prinsen Hotel from the airport:

  • The first possibility is to take bus number 2 or 22 (the only red bus stopping right in front of the airport exit). It is not important which letter you see next to 2 on the bus front; it only indicates the terminus stop. But all of them will stop at the railway station (the name of the bus station is Aalborg Busterminal), where you should get off. The name of the street is John F. Kenneyds Plads, see the above map. It would be a good idea to ask the driver to give you a sign when you arrive there. 90% of the population is fluent in English so if the driver will not understand you, someone else will. After you get off, you will see the building of the railway station right in front of you. Turn right such that the railway station now is on your left, and walk straight ahead entering Prinsensgade (see also the above map). The hotel is located at Prinsensgade 14. The walking distance is about 200 meters, while the bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes.

    The bus ticket costs 16 Danish Crowns, and you can buy it from the driver. Please be aware that NO other currency is accepted. There are some cash machines inside the terminal, very close to the main exit. The current exchange rate is about 7.5 DKK for one EUR.

    On Sunday there is only one bus every hour. The first number 2 is at 09:54 and the last one at 21:54. There is also a late bus (no. 22) at 23:27.

  • The second possibility is to take a taxi; you will see plenty of them near the bus station. You can pay with either Danish Crowns or Euros (only bills, not coins, and the change will be in DKK), and they accept any major credit card. The price will be around 150 DKK (or 20 EUR).

    • Getting from Prinsen Hotel to the conference venue: I will be in the hotel lobby on Monday at 08:45 and show you the way. We will again take any bus number 2, for another 15-20 minutes. In fact bus number 2 connects the airport with the city center and then continues to the university. Pierre Duclos and Arne Jensen are other participants whom you can follow in order to get to the conference venue, whose address is Aalborg University, Fredrik Bajers Vej 7B, auditorium B2-104 (it can take some time until the map is downloaded).
