Arrival is scheduled for Wednesday, May 25, and departure for Sunday, May 29. The actual scientific program will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (May 26-28).
The scientific program will be available on the main menu.
We will only have plenary talks of 45 minutes each. Place: Aalborg University, Fredrik Bajers Vej 7G, auditorium G5-112 (see below for a map).
There are eight good blackboards in that room. You can also use computers or slides.
Computers: there will be free wireless internet access through the network AAU-1-DAY. You may also use eduroam. Don't forget your laptop, no desktops will be available.
Most participants will be lodged at Prinsen Hotel. Its address is Prinsensgade 14-16, DK-9000 Aalborg.
Getting to Prinsen Hotel from the airport:
The first possibility is to take bus number 2 or 22 (the only red bus stopping right in front of the airport main exit). It is not important which letter you see next to 2 on the bus front; it only indicates the terminus station. All these busses will stop at the railway station (the name of the bus station is Aalborg Busterminal), where you should get off. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes. The name of the street where you have to get off is John F. Kenneyds Plads. The hotel is located on Prinsensgade 14-16, two hundred meters from the bus stop.
The bus ticket costs 22 Danish Crowns and you can buy it from the driver. Please be aware that NO other currency is accepted. There are some cash machines inside the terminal, very close to the main exit. The current exchange rate is about 7.5 DKK for one EUR.
The second possibility is to take a taxi; you will see plenty of them near the airport's main exit. The ride is safe, and you can pay with either Danish Crowns, Euros, or US Dollars (only bills, not coins, and the change will be in DKK), and they accept any major credit card. The price will be around 175 DKK (or 25 EUR).
Getting from Prinsen Hotel to the conference venue:
Bus number 2 connects the airport with the city center and then continues to the university. Take any bus number 2 from in front of the railway station for another 15-20 minutes and get off at the stop Mejrupstien. The conference venue is located at Fredrik Bajers Vej 7G, see here how you should walk from the bus stop to the institute.
