  • I was born in Valladolid (Castile, Spain). I studied mathematics at the Universities of Valladolid and Kaiserslautern. In February 2007, I obtained a PhD degree in mathematics at the University of Valladolid. In 2007, I was a postdoc for one year at the University of Kaiserslautern and then had a H.C. Ørsted postdoc position at the Technical University of Denmark. Currently I am assistant professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences of Aalborg University.

Here (and also here) you can see a picture of myself at AAECC-18 (Fortunately, I was not misbehaving at that moment...).
And here another picture, this time not so blurred.

I am a member of the research group Mathematics for communication of AaU, the Danish-Chinese Center for Applications of Algebraic Geometry in Coding Theory and Cryptography (AGINCC) and the Singacom group.
