Review in G5-112.  We will review results on zeros of holomorphic functions and results on meromorphic functions.

8:45-10:30

Problem session. Work in groups.

10:30-12:00

Lecture in G5-112. We will prove the residue theorem which enables us to calculate contour integrals of meromorphic functions.

Problems

• Find the poles and their order for the following functions:

          f(z)=1/sin (z)     g(z)=1/(exp(z²)-1)   h(z)=(z+2)/(z²-3)

    From AJ: 6.1.2, 6.1.1, 5.1.2.
