About me

As you might have guessed, I'm an associate professor in applied statistics at Department of Mathematical Sciences, Aalborg University in the northern part of Denmark. I'm doing research in statistics with application in forensic genetics and computational statistics.

How convincing is a matching Y-chromosome profile? (Nov 2017)

I have made a joint work with David Balding based on discussions at the Isaac Newton Institute "Probability and statistics in forensic science" in 2016. The work is for assessing Ychr evidential value from modern Y-STR profiling kits. It has now been published in PLOS Genetics: "How convincing is a matching Y-chromosome profile?".
