My research interest is mostly concerned with algebraic coding theory, secret sharing schemes, network coding and polynomials over finite fields. I often use Gröbner basis theoretical methods as a tool.
I am a member of the research groups Mathematics for Communication, Network Coding Focus Group , and Danish-Chinese Center for Application of Algebraic Geometry in Coding Theory and Cryptography. I am serving as PI for the project "How secret is a secret?" under The Danish Council for Independent Research -- Natural Sciences. For more information visit the homepage of the project.
I serve as a Management Committee substitute for Denmark in COST Action IC1104 "Random Network Coding and Designs over GF(q)".
I have had various teaching jobs within the following departments at Aalborg University. Department of Mathematical Sciences, Department of Computer Science, Department of Economics, Politics and Public Administration, Department of Medialogy. Right now together with Mikkel Meyer Andersen I am responsible for the project first.math.
