Mikkel H. Brynildsen

Welcome to my homepage on AAU. My name is Mikkel Haggren Brynildsen, I am a Ph.d. student in mathematical physics at the Department of Mathematical Sciences under the supervision of Horia D. Cornean.

My field of study is mathematical quantum mechanics, in particular magnetic effects on crystals.

Teaching:

Efterår 2013:

Første Studieår ved Det Teknisk-Naturvidenskabelige og Det Sundhedsvidenskabelige Fakultet - Lineær Algebra - Hold 1.

Forår 2012:

School of Engineering and Science - Byggeri og Anlæg, Maskin og Produktion, Calculus - Hold 2.

Before 2012:

While finishing my master, I have been tutor at the first year for engineers and mathematicians in the courses Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, repetition course in Mathematics and a general brush-up course in mathematics for starting engineers. Furthermore I have been tutor in a course in Fourier series, solving diff. equations with Laplace transform and complex analysis for 2nd year engineers.

In the fall of 2011 I have been tutor again in Fourier series, Laplace transform and complex analysis for engineers, I have also been supervisor for two project groups for 3rd semester mathematics' students with the subject optimization.

Non-academic life

I have a daughter with my girlfriend Sanne, and in my spare time I play guitar.
